MetalSucks is hosting an exclusive stream of How I Fell In Love With The Void, the scathing fourth LP from Connecticut-based noise rock henchmen INTERCOURSE, ahead of its release this Friday on Brutal Panda Records.
The self-deprecating INTERCOURSE – vocalist Tarek Ahmed, guitarist Sean Prior, drummer Caleb Porter and bassist Pete Stroczkowski – has averaged a release per year since forming in 2013, and has kicked against the pricks, power brokers, and pissants who make America “great” while tempering their outlook with a self-deprecating look inward.
INTERCOURSE’s How I Fell In Love With The Void delivers ten searing new tracks that merge elements of metallic hardcore into an antagonistic foundation of corrosive noise rock. The album was recorded by Chris Teti (The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die) at Silver Bullet Studios in Burlington, Connecticut. It was mastered by George Richter (Thy Will Be Done) and mixed by Chris Teti and Greg Thomas. The photograph on the album cover was shot by Sherilyn Furneaux (Portrayal Of Guilt) and features exotic dancer Clementine.
Ahmed states, “This album was written during what I thought was one of the hardest times of my life. The neat part is that since we finished recording things have gotten so much worse it’s almost comical. Please buy a copy, otherwise my ex-wife and coworkers are right about me. That being said, having this album out in the world alongside hitting the road with our pals in Nerver is something we are very much looking forward to.”
MetalSucks calls the album, “…a 10-song slab of chaos and unpredictability that hits hard as fuck.”

INTERCOURSE will rip through the Central US alongside Nerver on their first run of tour dates in support of the album. The tour will begin in Detroit on September 18th and will roll through Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, Denton, Oklahoma City, Kansas City, St. Louis, and Chicago before ending the trek in Indianapolis on September 27th.
